idk what to use but i will tell you one thing...

the fan control on the gtx295 is almost dead on i think.

it adjusts its speed very well according to temps unlike any other card i have owned.

Moves a ton of air! Much better than 9800GX2 although the 9800gx2 cooling structure was more than adequate.

Crysis or Clear Sky, since I expect those games to raise the card temp to highest.

But believe it or not, in a recent article on Techreport, Left4Dead raised the graphic cards temperatures to highest, even higher than Crysis. Can't find the article link anymore. But you could test it for yourself.

this is a good one i use to stress the ole card out with nfs/crysis if not the old 3dmark comes out

rthdribl barely warms up recent cards unless you have a very fast cpu.

That bench that you showed was to show off Physx in the card... It's does wonders for Nvidia cards but, there is no reason for a ATI card to use it unless having the set up that Fit's talked about...

My fault... thought W1z was preparing a review on the new 285 and 295 only, not on ATI cards (there weren't any launched in the CES were they?)...

just back from vegas .. gtx 295 and 285 reviews incoming the next days

I personally would like to see Furmark as a bench standard. Of course I dont think it works in CF. At least my 3870x2 does run it in CF.

Why not use Folding@Home? It doesn't exactly support Crossfire/SLi, however you could just setup two clients for dual GPU testing.

Or what about loops for one of the GPU tests of 3Dmark06?

F@H is already used for PPD count, perhaps adding a "Heat Generated/Load Noise" Category for benchmarks could happen?
