I need some software that can help me track down a memory leak. Task Manager and the Resource Monitor aren't functional enough. Or rather they're not showing me enough detail to figure out where the excess RAM is disappearing to. A quick tally in the running process tab comes up with about 2GB being used, yet the performance tab shows just under 5GB in use, as does a system utility gadget monitor. Nothing besides a browser is currently running. A reboot and idle desktop typically has 1.8GB utilized.
It's gotta be some piece of software I have installed as I was noticing this issue before doing a clean reinstall of Windows when I migrated over to SSD's.
