uh...help!!!!! (i think i broke my USB stick!!)

    this...sucks...i have all my old java projects on this drive...financial data...old graduate papers.... help?

    note: i somehow yanked the XPORTERXT rubber case right out of the chip. wtf!!!!!

    Is the green PCB broken?

    If so, Im so sorry to say, unless you can resolder that IC to another stick, you are screwed!

    tiny crack in the PCB where one of the solder points keeps the USB connected to it. my brother actually does this kind of stuff so hopefully he can rig it up so that i can get the data off of it before trashing it.

    well just lm. if you have a soldering iron i can walk you through it. needs to be fine point and youll need slim wire.

    i know! well first, about 4 weeks ago my entire NAS/data backup drive failed on me. luckily everything was on this USB that was important. i got a new NAS but havnt completely set up data backup options yet. i put the USB drive in to check out some stuff and yanked the thing out when i stepped on the string. fail.

    too much flash in the center give me more amb and no white splot.
