1920x1080 is better suited for 20" & 22". 1920x1200 is what you want from a 24"

big price difference lol, and the acer one is full HD, you wont get the letterbox when watching movies

Well ya get what ya pay for. I found 1920x1080 on a 24" abit blocky when ya sat close up.
That dell is going to be able to run in 1920x1080 so it dont av to show borders with films.
