i am looking for some parts for a gaming rig for my little bro...i have got him away from xbox and now he wants a gaming pc i have £200 to blow atm on cpu,gpu and maybe a motherboard..

i have an old asus m2avm [tink dats rite] its am2 and 3 gb ddr2 and an old psu so i cud reuse them and save more for parts..

emm im not sure yet.. 1440x900 to 1920x 1080 not sure on wat screen yet.

bump anyone uk got a am3 phenom x4 and decent gaming gpu? gtx 260 > 460 amd or nvidia ?

I have an GA-890GPA-UD3H and an x2 which unlocked to an x4 that I used on that very board before I upgraded to my sandybridge setup, interested? I can do both together for £110, let me know. The chip easily clocks to 4Ghz and above on the board with reasonable cooling and the NB will hit 2800+.
I can even chuck in an HD 5770 as well for a total of £160.

I have good heatware and have sold and bought various items on here only.

I tried the beta when it was out and it ran fine on high @ 1680x1050, baring in mind that the full game has now brought higher image quality as I understand it. Just PM me bud and we can get it all sorted soon as
