Ah, if only. :laugh:

XP's going out of fashion for those that haven't noticed, so amazon.co.uk have XP Pro OEM here for a mere £40 - and it's not a marketplace special from some dodgy seller either. It's from a marketplace seller, but fulfilled by Amazon, so it's a safe buy.

XP is still useful if you have old hardware and/or software that especially needs it, or if you're just in denial about moving on. Getting a TechNet sub for this would be overkill.

Sounds like a good deal if you still own a "Beefy Computer" although even the later P4 ones are still more sluggish than Win7 on an AMD E-350.

The UI looks Half-Life-ish. Counter Strike?

Would an english serial work with an spanish install? I have an old laptop with no recovery disc that could use this.

Yes, I believe so, but I don't know definitively. From what I can tell, the difference in keys is between different editions, not languages.
