    Hi all,

I have decided to give my gaming pc to my parents so instead I am selling my gaming laptop

The Laptop is a Novatech branded X80R (Same as a Rock Extreme). Spec is as follows:

    • Clevo M57RU chassis (same as used in the Rock extreme laptops)
    • 17" WUXGA 1920 x 1200 TFT Screen (superb for gaming)
    • Intel Core2 Duo T8100 (2.1ghz, 3mb cache, penryn core)
    • Intel 965pm Santa Rosa platform
    • Nvidia Geforce 8800mGTX 512mb
    • 160GB 7200rpm 2.5" Hitachi Laptop drive (SATA)
    • 2GB DDR2 667mhz memory (so-dimm)
    • DVD/RW Multi Burner
    • Azalia High Definition Audio With SRS WOW Surround Sound with 2 x 1.5 Watt & 1 x 2 Watt Sub Woofer
    • Vista 32Bit

    Other laptop features:

    • 4 USB 2.0 Ports
    • Serial port
    • DVI out
    • Headphone / microphone ports
    • Mini PCI express slot / 4 in 1 card reader
    • LAN & Modem ports
    • Built in webcam & Microphone

The laptop is completely upgradable with a removable back plate which provides access to the memory, Graphics card, CPU & hard drive. (I havn't used this however its nice to have).

The screen is a joy to use and is exceptional for gaming on (especially with the high resolution).

Gaming wise well with the 8800mGTX its somewhere in between a 9600GT and a 8800GT which means very good performance on all games bar crysis, even with the native resolution of 1920x1200. (A game like Oblvion runs great for example even with AA applied).

The laptop was pruchased in April 2008 so there are a few months left on its warranty. It will come with everything that came with it when I bought it. This includes:

    • Laptop
    • Charger - AC Lead
    • Driver discs and recovery CD (Vista)
    • DVI-VGA adaptor
    • Briefcase / carrycase
    • Documentation / quick start guide

The laptop itself is in excellent condition with no noticable scratches or dead pixels (I can't see any). The lid is a polished metal type so shows fingerprints easily.

I don't know really what else to say about the laptop. If you have any questions please email in trust.

OMG.....this is epically good value for that price!!! the only problem is i wont have any money until after christmas...

    ==Edit==

if you do still have it after Xmas - I will make u an offer. I'm planning to buy one after Xmas with my work bonus etc etc. & £700 wont really get you a gaming grade laptop unless its one of Dells 1530's which are good but out of date... or one of HP's running 9600m GT...
