I couldn't wait any longer so I've pre-ordered it. I went over to play.com as usual, however, they've changed, they're the same any more. They suck!

So I did a quick look around t'see what sort prices I could get and I managed to get STALKER: Clear Sky for £16.93.

Can't say I've ever used this site before, but hey, you have to try these things. So, if anyone in the UK is wanting the DVD version and want it for cheaper than everywhere else.

    There y'go!

EviLZeD, KieranD and orphy say thanks.

Just so you know, I just got an email saying gameplay do this on a pre-order for £17.99 delivered.

Still not as good a deal as yours InnocentCriminal, but in case someone wants to get but doesnt want "to try these things", lol. ;)

See, I've never heard of GamePlay either, but I have heard of LoveFilm. I'm forever having their adverts fall out of the magazines I buy or read when I'm loitering in Smiths. XD

I've used Gameplay as a source for a while (have quite a few depends on price where i get it). They're pretty good, sorted out my "lost" PGR4 really quick after a postman decided to nab it.

I'm 99% sure they are actually owned by Game.

Yeah, I thought I better put a UK prefix in the title just so people know it's exclusive to us. Shame they don't ship abroad.

... and you're only looking at a pound difference, depending on the delivery charges of course.

    Delivery at Gameplay is 2.95£.
    :\

Oh well, it's still a bargain compared to my local retailer preorder prices.

Oh it should be better than the original. It's everything the original should have been apparently. Just don't say that to Ketxxx he'll bite your nuts off.

he thinks his mod is the ultimate, he thinks if i can make a mod this good why cant they make the game this good in the first place

i said there was a bug he went mental it was a bug tho with the latest patch

ive apologised because it wasnt his fault i was using the wrong patch, tbh honest it said there may be issues so it was worth a try

if he dosnt like the new stalker then fine but ill wait untill i play the finished game to see what i make of it

    Extreme requirements:
    - Windows Vista (Service Pack 1 required) - OK
    - Processor type: Intel Core2 Duo E8500 / AMD 64 X2 6000+ - E8200 @ 3.2Ghz, so OK
    - RAM: 4 GiByte - OK- 10 GByte free hard drive space - OK
    - Direct X 10 compatible graphics card with 512 MiByte VRAM / Geforce 9800 GX2 / Radeon HD 3870 X2 - Bugger!

I ran the E3 leak maxxed out on my setup, with 1280x1024... I call BS on those requirements.

IDK, man - I think they might be on par for the extreme settings . . .

for example, I've been running SoC with the weather overhaul mod, and a few other tweaks at 1440x900 - even on my system, there are times where it starts bogging down . . .

the 4GB DRAM requirement does look a little funny, though :wtf:

Well I was running it on Full Dynamic lighting, 1280x1024 maximum detail, and it was fine for me, just a little laggy in some places, as expected for an alpha build.
