I am running Vista 64 SP1 with NForce 178.13 and the game was patched up to 1.5.05. Sound is onboard, nothing else plugged into the USB ports needs a driver (apart from my printer) so there shouldn't be anything to conflict with it.
Im glad it works for you, but I've given it a good go and Im not prepared to risk my PC to more BSODs - I have got away with no damage so far but who knows if the next one isnt going to take out my boot sector or something. The most annoying thing is I had got quite far into the game with relatively few problems when it just wouldnt play anymore. I had been holding off on 1.5.04 as i didnt want to lose my save games but bit the bullet, did 4 & 5 and then started again. The swamp was a nightmare of lock-ups and BSODs and I just lost it with it. I have no problem putting in a bit of work with patches and hot-fixes to get a game working , but this game is just takign the piss IMO.
I'll try it again in a few months probably............
