This look about right?
Dirt 2 is out in Dec which will be DX11.
AvP out Feb will be the first full proper DX11 title that will put Tessellation to good use.
i guess i mean a real actual dx11 game with new textures built for dx 11. i guess dirt2 is just that.
nice scores soda
Runs like butter.
It kind of kills the marketing "you can run games on an nV ION platform"
AMD 5800 Demos are out
Ran DX10 to contrast with my early 11 result-
1920x1200 DX10 default filtering = 64.9 FPS/Score 1635
1920x1200 DX11 default filtering 1920x1200 = 41 FPS/Score 1032.
OpenCL drivers do not like the OpenGL benchmark.
BattleForge is a real actual DX11 game and it implements the new tesselated textures.
I do like this demo though, it shows just how good DX11 can look.
Heres a quick run with everything on stock and a GTX285.
at 1024x768 in wondowed mode good job
lol i thought the same thing
Thats what i said wasnt it [STOCK]
Bah, run it at as high settings as you can.
Thats what i was about to do.
I was just seeing what the score was at default settings.
Not bad for a single 285...Everything on max.
thing that bugs me is they could make the stairs and rocks look 3D and not flat with DX10
downloading now to see how bad is my pc
but why are people running the dx11 benchmark with dx10/10.1 hardware ? , the results are void tbh as they do not support the dx11 features
This isn't a contest. Running in DX11 with a DX10 or 10.1 card is the same as running the benchmark with DX10.
Heres mine.....still not to bad for "Old" tech.
Heres my result
i wasnt being sarcastic....calm down
That's on my 24/7 settings in specs. 1080p with 2xaa DX10
4xAA no other changes.
