I just started playing this yesterday and it is fun! Right now its multiplayer is host a game only but they plan on dedicated servers. It looks like minecraft and DayZ had a baby and it mutated into this! There are all kinds of guns and vehicles. You can also craft many objects and build.

"Unturned is an indie game created by a game developer named Nelson Sexton, or more widely known by his alias, Greg Stevens. The game, currently in development, has met much success as it holds a wide support in it's community. Unturned is a survival game that takes place after an unknown apocalyptic event where most of humanity has been wiped out. The only survivors are yourself, other players, the leftover zombies, and a select few animals that inhabit the area. The objective of the game is to gather the supplies you need to sustain yourself either from the land or looting from pre-apocalyptic structures. You must also defend yourself against an array of dangers, including bandits, zombies, and radiation poisoning."

    Too many Minecraft clones. :(

From what you said, I think I'd rather play 7 Days to Die.

In Minecraft i kinda missed more high tech stuff like ranged weapons other tan a bow and flying vehicles. I've been always crazy about building cities in the clouds, so naturally i need a more modern transportation than boats and walking...

Finding it really good fun, the weapons are cool and the driving. Not done much actual crafting and building yet. Finding it difficult to find a permanent server that id want to spend any time in building anything yet

No I was on wifi on my iphone. My brother in law has a house on a lagoon and I was catching blue gill and turtles like crazy.

BACK to the game. The server is back up and I need some people to test to make sure that its up to date!

Had a fun moment. I shall describe it. Excuse any grammar mistakes and lack of details as its late and I'm sleepy literally just happened though.

So I enter the server only second time playing the game. I find a few houses grouped up and search them, get nothing but a bat. Then I see this guy running from 3 zombies. I help him out. We buddy up and proceed to follow the road.

Not to far along he ahead of me gets ran over by a car! I run to the side asking him if he is still alive. Driver gets out his car since he heard me talking. I continue hiding moving along. I wait for him to leave and then device a plan to take his car. He keeps going back and forth looking for me but then just bails. So I continue my walk and find a lighthouse. Scavenge it for a hat and some shells. I hear some action across the waters and decide to see what the fuss is about. I swim across the lake and when I get there nothing. So I look around and find a shotgun in the house, I grab it. This is where things got exciting for me.

I kept eyes on this guy after finding him via gunshots just over some hills. I watched him from behind a tree , strategizing. I saw him get his car that he hid go into the city (same red car that ran over my new friend). Few seconds later a gun fire breaks out. As the shots went ablaze I used that time to run from the brushes and and sneak up to him. As he was picking up loot and talking to his friend in voice chat I snatched the car and took off! They didn't seem to notice a thing!

With 6% gas tank I took it a town or two across. Heard another gun fire take place at a burning building riddled with traps. I snuck in there stepping on some unsuspecting traps and then guided my way through the rest. Found a huge stash of loot! I mean tons of loot! Travel Bags, Katanas, Shotguns, Assault Rifles, armor, axes and more! As pleasing as it was to see it all, it also felt like a death zone! I saw another guy getting loot. I tried to sneak up on him but I thought he saw me. So I took cover and poped right on out running and gunning, shoot him point blank with my shotgun. Took only 1 hit! Proceeded to look around for food since I was well stocked up on weapons and ammo but starving.

    MustSeeMelons says thanks.

Sounds like a good time then :) I haven't been able to buddy up yet, everyone seems to shoot first.

Had a fun time playing cat and mouse other day though, when you die you re-spawn near where you died, so i kept trying to hunt down the guy that killed me, sometimes i got him and he'd come after me and vice versa. Never thought id be into the mine-craft styled game but really enjoying this.

EDIT: How does item persistence work? In games like rust structures you build decay and you need to build crates and things to keep items when you disconnect but what about this? Ive noticed when i reconnect i still have items in my inventory that i had when i disconnected. Is this permanent or do they only remain for a period of time whilst offline?

You die you lose your stuff, you live you keep it. At least that is what I think.

I found some good gear but food and medicine is that hardest part to find. I know u can craft a canteen and drink water out of any source even the ocean.

Ive been lucky in finding a canteen, quite valuable. That and a full gas container i think. However i made the mistake of firing a rifle in a town. Must have been about 30 zombies showed up. Then i died and logged off in a huff :(

I know you did cause I was close and heard the shot. All I found when I got there was like 20+ zombies and all your gear layed out.
