Hi TPU,

Just to cut to the chase, I've dealt with all sorts of driver issues in the past and have gotten them to work no problem. This one has me stumped.

For reference, MSI R7870 2GB in XFire. Running on 13.11 Beta 4 I ran everything perfectly fine with no problems. We're talking upwards of 100 hours of gaming over 3 weeks.

But then, I'd get the ATIKMPAG.SYS bsod sometimes. So I updated my drivers to the most recent beta. When I installed drivers 13.11 8 beta (and up) I'd get the Installation Package Failure, and sometimes it'd work fine. Otherwise I'd reboot and it'd be as if my drivers were not installed at all (running low resolution, aero turned off).

I've done several clean installs but to no ado.

Can anyone share with me some thoughts on what I can do to stabilize this thing?

I would do, in that order: Remove all overclocks first, reduce memory clock and timings, try the card in another PC.
