I am looking for recommendations on an internal or external drive. I currently have a Samsung SH-B083L and not long after I purchased it they stopped releasing firmware for it. It can play 75% of my movies but the rest it just makes that fun grinding noise.

So I am on the lookout for a replacement that is more recent and still getting regular updates. If anyone could provide a recommendation it would be appreciated.

Thanks

its not a firmware problem but a mechanical problem.

on the down LG and Asus
