Hi,

im running 2x 680 gtx sli on an z77 board and an 3570k @4.7 Ghz.

Favourite game is BF3, playing @ 2560x1600 with (70-120FPS)

I want to optimize things and have 2 Ideas how.

1. To sell 2x 680 gtx and buy one 690 gtx. Performance wise it wouldn't change much but it would maybe optimise microstutter, input lag etc. The 690 gtx could also use more bandwidth with 1x 16x pci-e 3.0 this could also help for a smoother gameplay maybe, or not ?

2. To buy a third 680 gtx and run them in 3x sli. Performance would rise about 30 % but would this be a nice gaming setup ?Pci-e bandwidth would be with 8x/4x/4x pci-e 3.0 not the best.
Think this could cause some microstutter.

What do you guys think is the better setup ?

Keep what you got. 2X GTX 680 is sick. I dont think the 690 would improve your game experience over the two cards.

ur PCI-E bandwidth won't change on the Sabertooth top GFX's will still run x8/x8 bcs the lower PCI-E x16 slot is wired x4 bcs it runs of the chipset not the cpu.

buying a GTX690 why use so much money on a that card when u already run SLi? ain't u wanna with 70~120fps?
