Upgrade suggestions?

    OK guys i need some suggestions.

    AMD is not doing it for me anymore so im thinking of upgrading to i7, shall i wait or purchase:

    Intel Core i7 930 CPU (Bloomfield):D:D:D:D:D

    Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD7 (i want future proofing for usb3 and sata 6.0gb)

    Corsair Dominator GT 3x2gb 2000mhz

    Are you just concerned with benchmarking? That would be the only reason I would see a need to upgrade anything. Otherwise you're wasting your money.. or just having fun. :)

    hmmmmm you make a valid point sir. I think the main thing i should realy upgrade is my 22" monitor......running that on a 5970 is a tad bit meh:shadedshu

    but yes benchmarking mainly, but £600 doesnt justify getting more e.peen

    EDIT: IM SO CONFUSED!!!!!:banghead::banghead::banghead:

    anyone know a decent monitor i should upgrade to, im not clued up on my monitors.

    what about six core amd which should nicely pop into that asus deluxe board,,, that will raise the benchmarks a bit no? i imagine six core i7 would be muuuuch more costly + the mobo afcors
