I miss having HT for encoding, and md5 testing.
I currently got a Core i5-6600K not clocked bcs i don't have the time for stress testing it to be stable.
I was thinking about a i7-6700k or a Xeon E3-1275v5.
the price difference is about $46 / €43 / £30 and since ik i won't be oc'ing and 4ghz is a nice touch and both do that on turbo and the i7 200mhz more.
The build in igpu both has 24 unified shaders and is codenamed Skylake GT2 but have different boot clocks i7 1150mhz and Xeon 1050mhz but i will use my GTX 970.
So my question is since i won't be oc'ing which would be the better choice? Ik the obvious answer would be the Xeon bcs i don't need oc, but i don't really know never had a Xeon for myself.
