I have that urge to change some things in my system. I can't decide what I should be looking at though. I do nothing but game really and that consists mostly of The Witcher 3 and Shadows of Mordor at the moment. With my current system specs what do you all think I should upgrade to get a little more performance out of it?

I would like to keep it under 650$US. I am just wondering what you would do if you had the same system and the same budget.

I would buy a 980 Ti.

Other good upgrades would be 16GB of memory and another bigger SSD (500GB, 1TB).

I only use SSDs haven't had an HDD in my setup for almost a year, but I also don't game a lot so an SSD was a better upgrade than a better GPU (anyway I didn't have the choice since my HDD died on me).

Well it really just depends on what your specs currently are. If you already have a decent cpu/mobo combo then you should definitely take that budget of yours and buy a GTX 980ti. But if you've got an Athlon processor paired with 4gb of RAM and an r9 280x, it might be time to upgrade your cpu first.

Edit: Sorry didn't see your system specs in the drop down, yeah I agree with m&m's, you should grab yourself a GTX 980ti, you won't have any problems maxing out titles with that rig.

Get a GB 980 Ti Gaming G1, a friend of mine got it too and is very happy with it. Alternatives would be a Sapphire Fury Tri-X I'd say. After that you could upgrade the Ram to 16 GB, but that depends if you run into limits there.

I went from a GTX 780 to a GTX 980 on 1440 and it almost doubled my frame rate

Very true! A GTX 980 is not to be underestimated at all.

Thank you for all of the advice. I have decided to get another SSD and changed out my ram to 16 gigs. My next step will be a gpu most likely a 980ti. I have my cpu and my gpu slightly overclocked and it has worked out really well so far.
