Upgrading Custom PC Help- Expertise Needed

So basically, I have limited time to get this done. I need/want to upgrade my PC by either getting a new build or better yet, replacing parts and keeping some. Here are my parts :
  • Case: Zalman Z12 Plus
  • MotherBoard: Asrock 980DE3/U3S3
  • Hard Drive: WD Green Desktop 2TB
  • Power Supply: Antec NeoECO 620watt ATX12v v2.3 80plus bronze
  • RAM: Corsair Vengeance 1x8gb 1600mhz
  • CPU: AMD FX Black Edition 6300 6-Core
  • Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 6570 2gb
  • CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper T4
Now the great big task is that, I need expertise on changing this to a working/compatible system that can be for a great gaming pc, able to play the latest games...oh and League of Legends at around 120fps on high quality. I will use this PC to do web design editing and photo(but not extreme; just minimal photoshop). Parts that I might want to keep, but up to your disgretion: "Case, HDD, PSU, RAM, and maybe CPU", So what I want is an Intel version and AMD Version of compatible builds, to my specifications. I'm thinking a budget of about $800-900. If you're about to get confused; the parts that i want to keep are included into the 800$. If there is any questions, please ask. I will clear things up so you can better understand.

What you should say instead is what is your budget for upgrade (as in cash) and then we can see what can be re-used. That board is not very good for that CPU unless you keep the FX at stock. Do you plan to overclock?

The number 1 thing to upgrade is your GPU and maybe get another 8GB stick of ram for dual channel:

Memory: Corsair XMS 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($46.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card: PowerColor Radeon R9 290 4GB TurboDuo Video Card ($229.99 @ Newegg)

And a nice thing to get would be an SSD (for faster boot and general feel of the PC but will not help with gaming):

Storage: Sandisk Ultra Plus 256GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($84.99 @ Newegg)

If you want to get a better CPU / MB then you will have to go with intel which is another $300

Okay, so a range of 300-500$ is the budget to upgrade. I say that because of the potential parts you would need to have the specifications met.

Ok, so the parts you gave me seems to be very good. Now, what mob would be your best 100% bet to be compatible with said parts

there is no 100% / likely any modern mobo is compatible, that's the point of standards (so 90%? 95%?)

i didnt quite understand, are you saying you have $800 available & that you want to pick some parts to get big boosts while keeping as many existing ones as possible in order to save money or be able to buy even better new parts?

you are already fully capable of photoshop, i just dont know how demanding LoL is... what if your current cpu makes it impossible to reach 120? in which case a gfx upgrade wouldnt solve this... but yes a 6570 is not good so this is going to be replaced for sure

for other games... which ones? what settings? what framerate? cpu might be a problem

for the hard drive, i personally wouldnt get a 256gb ssd for $85 when i could get a good 1-2tb 7200rpm drive for that price or lower (*if i'm trying to keep a tight budget, i guess in your case you already have 2tb), an ssd is almost always merely reduced load times rather than fps

who needs 16gb ram??

you are at the point where milking any more out of it would be a waste of money in the long run best to bite the bullet
you could probly re-use the following
case
hard drive
cooler if you have LGA1150 brackets
the ram if you can find a matching 8GB stick ...
you could re-use the psu but I don't recommend it ...

And to explain the whole $800 thing. Take for example, all the parts I initially have cost a total of $800. Now I'm wanting to replace the parts with this exact same money range, so if all the parts that don't need replacing costs a total of $200 then that leaves me with $600 to replace the ones that do. Do you understand with that scenario?

a amd motherboard is 60 bucks all day long ... your math is way off ... the total value of that system is not more then 400.00 in todays market
and you aren't going to get everything you want with your budget it just isn't going to happen .. gpus are expensive you can replace the motherboard and spend the rest on a gpu and get anouther year or two out of it and then replace everything anyway

the i5 the board and a the 750ti come to 489.97 + shipping its not a beastly gaming rig but its got good potential
you would re-use the following
hard drive
case
power supply
ram
cooler(provided you have the mounting hardware saved)

Ok in that case, since you've put it into clear perspective for me, can you make(calculate) me a gaming pc, with(case, hdd, ram) and psu(optional) that I have said at beginning of post, in under 600 bucks. 700 if u need more money.

Is Intel better in the market or can I still use amd?

Just to note: there is two reasons why I'd highly prefer just changing the processor, graphics card, and motherboard. 1. It comes out more cost effective(cheaper) 2. I'm getting it shipped so these parts can fit in better in case, so more money saved. I'm not trying to cheap out on parts. I'm just trying to get something working so I can play games for the summer. I'll change parts later on in the future of course. Thanks

best I can do while still getting a hafway decent intel build
you can re-use your psu as well provided its not more then a 2 years old ...
it should do close to 120FPS in LOL but don't expect battlefield 4 or gta V to run at more then 60 @ medium`ish 1080p
to be-able to max everything and fly though games at >100fps requires a 1500.00 budget for 1080p
