Pretty crazy stuff right here. I have pics from my phone that I will post later tonight. I literally watched this plane float down the hudson river! Intense.

Thank god everyone is alright. Good thing this happened where it did, so many people saw it safety workers got out there fast. Props to NYC!

They say a flock of Canada Geese took down the plane. I'm gonna head for the bunker in case of 'retaliation' for our grievous acts on the U.S.

Serious though, good job on the pilot and excellent quick thinking.
    Exavier says thanks.

With the amount of negative news that's going on daily, it's nice to have a story like this finally. Everyone safe and sound, amazing! Kudos to the pilot and crew. :toast:

Saw it on BBC news on Sky but put on CNN.

Got to say Bravo to the Pilot & Co-Pilot. They have gone into the Guiness Book of records for making the First Succesfull Belly landing on water in an Airliner. And you can see in the pictures the Port Engine must of come of the aircraft when it hit the water (as it's listing to starboard)

Oh and shows you how could European Manufactoring is as well :D even if it is French.... But with English Wings & Engines.

I took these from the 45th floor of the New York Times Building. We didn't see it go in, but we saw/heard a helicopter fly mad close to the building, and someone glanced at the river and:

are you serious? lol sorry but that one is just a lil funny, good that the people made it safe though, i didn't figure a plane would be mostly whole after landing in a river and with the people being perfectly fine. :toast:

No, the FAA will put it in a hangar somewhere and analyze it to death over the next five years. Then they'll release a report stating stuff everyone already knows.
