USB Device Drive?

    Ok, so I'm cleaning up my friends comp and one issue I have is this:

    The computer thinks all the USB ports are occupied when they're not:confused: Is this a driver issue?

    Do you have a card reader plugged into a USB header? That would do it. The drive letters are always present even if there is nothing in them. They act like CD/DVD drives in that regard.

    And USB supports 127 devices, its certaily not full :laugh:

    Yes, so is there no way to get rid of this message? I guess it's no big deal, it's just kinda annoying when getting that message on every boot up.
