Use AMD GPU for Xtra Monitors?

So I have 660ti in my current system. And I was thinking that since I have some extra monitors I might just hook them up. So I have a 5770 laying around, would the nVidia drivers or Windows having a problem seeing that there is a non nVidia GPU installed? I will not be trying to use the 5770 to enhance my gaming experience, but use it to take the load of extra monitors off of the 660ti.

How many monitors are you talking about? It is probably just best to hook them up to the 660Ti if possible, secondary 2D monitors don't really affect performance.

Though it is possible to add the 5770 and install AMD's drivers along side nVidia's, it can lead to problems.

I did this once but the opposite using a nvidea 9800gt. It worked but I kept getting weird problems.
