Asus does it again......after the glide2 wrapper for Asus cards only like 10 years ago....that got cracked to work with all the brands, eventually
they are releasing some VP3-like feature, called "Splendid HD" :

it's downloadable in the form of their usual "ASUS Enhanced Driver" 1.37(sorry, couldn't find english URL) :

it's mostly a NT service....and it provides the same as the "unsharp masking" filter of ffdshow in windows and PowerDVD.
anyone's got a clue how to cheat this thing to work on my Sapphire HD2600 Pro DDR3 PCI-E 256MB ?
I've downloaded the ATi 8.3 drivers from Asus, they look identical to the stock ones from AMD.
should I flash my card with some Asus BIOS ? if I can find an identical one....or cheat on the ID card with Rivatuner or sumthing ?
I also know a shop that would let me borrow a Sapphire 2600Pro 512MB DDR2, and Asus has a BIOS available for this kinda card on their website
I've never had a Asus videocard, and I can't restart my box atm.....so if anyone's got a clue ?
