It's my typo. Supposed to be "Not sure" No wonder no one else voted for it!
I assumed that to be the case. I just like pointing stuff out like that, 'cuse I'm a jerk!
Yeah thanks ,You notice every time he asked him about the episodic way he just bat and rolled,,,Yeah we will have great big games and plans.....I want HL2EP3.
I'm a terrible grammar nazi, so I can totally relate, bro. Making a typo like that and not being able to correct it physically hurts.
not sure if valve trolling .... or gone full retard
So what about those who *gasp* mostly play single player?
You get Nightmare mode for free, but you have to pay double if you want to play on easy.
I would find this method hilarious.
Well guys, I think have just seen when April 1st shows up in Valve Time.
well i didn't even get TF2 for free, i bought it when it came out, to support steam at the time, and i still think it's a good purchase i did back then, today.
i got Portal for free when they had it for free, but other than that i have buying my games in a retail store so i get a cd, other than MW3 which someone bought for me online.
but only thing that annoys me a little is that some of my old games can't be steam activated i need to buy them at steam to be able to get them on their and updates :/
I think both.
You are a member of a free forum right now. Administrators can choose to ban you for whatever reason they might like, effectively charging you for your stupidity.
EA has the policy that those banned from their forums will lose access to all of their games. They have effectively made it a 0 benefit, 100% cost game.
I would like to see Gabe Newell's actual plan. Valve isn't stupid enough to swing the ban hammer (or monetary one) wildly, nor are they going to do something that isn't well reasoned. The article suggests a bit of ego driving the initial project, but nothing is stated about how the actual mechanic might work.
In short; if this were EA I'd be microwaving popcorn and waiting for the eventually spectacular failure that this would become. As it's Valve at the helm, I'd like to see something before judgement is passed. While the issue is complex, I'm not willing to dismiss anything coming from Valve until there is good reason.
I think it would work, what I'll do is
New Steam Accounts (FULL PRICE)
New Steam Accounts with at least one purchased game(can cut up to 10% Discount)
6 Month Old Steam Account with at least one purchased game(can cut up to 20% Discount)
1 Year Old Steam Account with at least one purchased game(can cut up to 50% Discount)
2 Year Old Steam Account with at least one purchased game(can get games for free)
not all games are eligible and different games, different Discounts
each account will have a progress bar which goes up until you've reach the max possible discount for that account/game whenever you do something good.
every troll/cheat you make, the progress bar will go down until it goes back to FULL PRICE again.
just my idea, not an expert on this.
The question is.. how will they know if you've trolled/cheated or if you've done something good
I would be nice for free gamez......
I think this is a great idea. We have to wait and see how far and how hard you can define, measure and implement "nice".
Separate names with a comma.
