Ive got a PNY XLR8 GTX 460 with bios version 70.04.13.00.51, when trying to submit it to the site via GPU-z it says it already has this rom(83049.rom) although I couldnt find it bios database, however if i edit the URL to this:

    http://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/83049/PNY.GTX460.1024.100712.html

    It pops right up.

As you can see on that page its listed as overclocked edition which it is not,it also seems to be the older bios compared to the only PNY bios listed in the database for the GTX 460.

I want to edit the bios to remove the 70% limit on fanspeed, should i just use my own dumped bios or get the newer bios?

if gpuz says it already has that bios then the two files are identical (your bios, the bios it says is the same)
