Vid card for Living room pc??

Hey TPU-ers.. I recently recieve an Abit ip35-e motherboard,E8400 C2D, and Tuniq tower 120.. I had some old corsair DDR2 800 i threw in there and a coolermaster real power pro 650.. I ran to Microcenter and grabbed an Asus 4350 Silent 512 DDR2 pci-e card and threw it in(after i strapped an 80mm fan to it).. Anyhow i was looking at their website and they have a Galaxy GT 240 1GB DDR3 card- $80 w/ $40 mail in rebate.. Just wanted to get opinions on the GT240? Anyone have one or had and how was it? My daughter will be playing some little games on there but nothing to demanding.. Anyhow just wanted to see what the fellow TPU thought? Get it right? lol

Id say for that price you cant go wrong.

Its not going to give you many FPS in real games but if your just going to play web browser games and watch video it will get the job done.

Yeah mostly movies in there and maybe some little kids games.. and the occasional battlefield 2 on lower settings lol.. Plus i can stick it in my rig for dedicated physx card when i find something better!!!

Just ran Battlefield 2 demo on the 4350 and surprizingly i did ok.. so i am assuming the GT240 will be much better than 4350.. Thanks guys.. If anyone has one of these let me know how it is

Well the 240 is basically a 9600GT, and those are decent cards in their own right.
