Hi, I have two AAKS -series HDD's. 320GB and 500GB, the problem is noise, they hum and "squeal" so loud on idle that I am going mad. So is there any way to lower the RPM of these drives? I tried SilentDrive, but that only affected the searching sound. The drives are the loudest parts in my system. I have used thick rubber bands to hold them, but the noise is just too much. The case is Antec Three Hundred (no good in terms of acoustics).

Or should I make some kind of box for them with foam inside to kill the noise...?
