I know that kingston ssd 64GB is fast for boot, but can a 640gb caviar black or velociraptor 150gb compare to it when opening apps, boot up, watching movies, etc... Is the difference noticable? If i was to get the 640gb black or the 150gb velociraptor which one would be fast in boot time, watching movies, etc...

Boot difference is huge. Apps while not as dramatic as booting, you can still tell a difference. Is it noticeable? Well to me it is, but it's not earth shattering.
