weird EMI feed back

    lately I have been getting this these weird noises though my speakers ( low staticy buzzs and squeeks and squeels ( that seem to co-ninside with usb device activity or hdd access ) I have had this happen before but for the life if my I can't remember what causes or fixes it :banghead:

    Electronic devices doing stuff causes it. Ferrite cores fix it.

    thx for refreshing my memory but to correct you
    Ferrite cores dont fix it but 3 Ferrite choked ripped fofm some old cables and stuff will :D

    put 1 on each hdd cable and one on my usb mouse cable and the noise is all gone :D

    If we want to be technically correct, I guess the proper term for it is a ferrite bead. I need to do the same to a few of my cables too.
