    I had a feeling the Core2 cpus would have a strong showing. I bet tons of us have them for back-up systems and such.

    My main rig is under other for the 980x.

    Then Core2Extreme for the server (retired benchmarking system).

    Core2Quad for the kids' computer/secondary gamer.

    Core2Duo for the laptop. Still plenty of power for everything but gaming.

    I did my desktops processor not my laptop which is what I'm on now oops haha oh well that is my COMPUTER this is my toy

    Still running my QX9650. Does everything I need it to do.
    The only thing I've upgraded since the original build has been the GCs and the OSs.

    I actually knew that (altough you could argue that the use of the trigate transistors is a bigger difference than a "simple" die shrink) but I figured I'd be more detailed on the latest stuff. If I would take all die shrinks (and similar) into account the list would never end.

    I have c-60, atom d525, Core Duo and Phenom II X4.

    Really happy with all of them ;)

    They all do the job I wanted them to do and are really good fit.

    You forgot the plain old AMD Athlon. They are between Athlon XP and K6.
