37 inch LG LCD TV = Main rig
2x23 inch LG monitors = backup/internet rig
Two 27" ASUS VE278Q's
For the next couple weeks a 24" hd lcd monitor, then moving to 32" Samsung .
single 22'' monitor for now.
Mines not up there I have a 1080p projector...
Also got a 22" sharp for my benchmark rig
19 inch lcd by lg. thats enough for me for all around needs
how do your guys not burn your retina when playing on those big back lit TV screens......are you wearing sun classes
I thought CCFL backlit LCDs didn't go much into the UV spectrum and were therefore very much safe; even safer than CFLs and standard fluorescent lights.
As far as I know the greatest danger to your eyes when using an LCD monitor is eye strain, which might actually be mitigated by using a larger screen.
@Easy Rhino - Thanks! I looked up Computer Vision Syndrome and it's not permanent : http://www.aoa.org/x5380.xml
that and the brightness. if your screen is too bright and you sit too close to it you can develop what eye experts call computer vision syndrome. your focus can get skewed over time and you will become insensitive to light changes.
32" sony bravia, wouldnt mind three 22" monitors or a 1080p projector though
Two old 19 inch monitors at 1280x1024.
Wait how can you sit so close to a 50 inch TV?
I's not as close at the pic makes it out to be. My TV sits on one deck and I sit at one in front of it and I have power savings on high.
that's not a 50" monitor... compare to keyboard length or the "19" monitor.. 40 or 42 at the most
yea, that is barely 37 inches
I use two monitors regularly. If I'm feeling funky I'll bring a third or fourth around for a while, but my desk can really only comfortably fit two.
its a 50 inch plasma do the math
web cam fails
will do math now... my 42" LG monitor is 41" wide from left to right not diagonal... my logitech G11 (same body as your keyboard) is 21.5", using deductive reasoning by visually placing two keyboards side by side, or by doing simular with the claimed "19" monitor, your first picture is NOT a 50" plasma... the second picture (which is out of focus) has a different background and no taskbar or Anything similar to the first picture is might be 50", but the OP picture is not a 50" monitor... math is fun
or we could count task bar icons.. you have 11 and it goes halfway... I have 15 and it is jst short of halfway
Edit: it also doesn't matter how big it is. You're still pretty and we all still like you!
1. i have a 50 inch tv and a 19 inch lcd
2. its a plasma having the same background will burn it. You would know this if you knew anything about plasmas and having a closing task bar helps with burning
3.my g15 is almost 5 feet away from my tv
4.fighting over the internet is pointless
1. I don't doubt you have a 19" LCD
2. Yes I have a Plasma in my Living room
3. It is not 5 ft. away if you utilize depth perception. MAYBE a foot and a half.
4. I don't fight you said "do the math" so I did
Why are u posting your just saying I'm lying about the things I own and how I have them placed in my room? I think you mad cuz you don't have a 50 inch tv might wanna think about what you just said if my g15 was 1 foot from my tv i would be blind.
I voted... No need to make accusations... I said I think you are pretty
Edit: I only need a 42" in my room because I have a woman that goes along with it
3x 22" LG monitors on my main PC, that I use every day, and 50" plasma for fun.
lol at this thread!!
