My seller wrote in the invoice: NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX3060 12 GDDR6
GPU-Z, says the same, and
as serial number IN ASUS WEB is PH-RTX3060 12 2
It seems a discrepancy. What is the true?

Ok, so this is definitely an ASUS card, because of 1043 in the third field of Device ID, which is the registered ID of ASUS

The model seems to be Phoenix V2, based on the fourth field value (8810): https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/asus-phoenix-rtx-3060-v2.b9051

But for your intents and purposes that should be fine, because it is still a "RTX 3060"

It's definitely matching the description so the only way you could've get scammed is this GPU being damaged or defective.

>Am I not sure I understood?" Are the denominations, whatever their origin as I mentioned, valid for what the manufacturer says? What the seller tells me and coincides with what I think I remember I saw, the one on the invoice would have two fans and the one on the serial number would have only one. But is serial number error possible? I don't rule out that my memory fails, especially when faced with the serial number and the model it represents. Do I have a choice while I wait for the product to be returned to your repair center?

In short, and waiting for the response to the MSINFO32 report, what GPU-Z shows is not the model but the name of its technology

English please.

You seem to be confused about graphics card vendors. ASUS is a vendor for NVIDIA. They make and sell NVIDIA's RTX 3060 12GB model as their own ASUS branded card. There are a number of companies that do this; these are first-party partners for NVIDIA. Each of these cards is different from the other, that's how vendors differentiate their models. NVIDA makes their own version, called the Founders Edition or FE. This card has two fans. The ASUS card you bought and received has one.

So the seller wrote in the invoice that the card is an NVIDIA RTX 3060 12GB. Which it is. An ASUS built and branded NVIDIA RTX 3060 12GB. Look at the identification line and match that to what GPU-Z reports for "Device ID". They are the same.

What I think he is saying, is that "from his memory" he though it was going to be a dual fan card, but the serial number says single fan card. This could be true, if the re-seller changed the fan shroud on the card because the original was broken or damaged. Nothing to worry about there. You just get better cooling.

Certainly I am confused. Perhaps not intelligent enough. What you explain to me it was not necesary nevertheless thanks very much. I said my mind memory tells to me I saw two fans in my card. And my seller
has the same opinion. Maybe as in my previous amswer said that what I remember perhaps it is wrong.

No worries. If the card is working as intended with no heat issues. Everything is good.

I can't write in English because when I send the post it converts it to Spanish. I don't know why. KedsDead is right about what I said.
Last question: does the name given by GPU-Z correspond to the technology of the card or to the name that each manufacturer gives to the model? That was the whole point. I haven't mentioned scam or anything like that.
Thank you both very much
