GTX 760's perform worse than the 280 and cost 20% more in the UK. GTX 770's cost 20% more than the better /on-par performing 280X and the 270X isnt worth buying as its only 15% cheaper than the 280 and 20% cheaper than the 280X while being a lot slower than both.

Quite honestly i wouldn't go to high on GPU as the FX-4100 will become a bottleneck
I agree for FX 4100 the 280 is more than enough. You can go higher if you want but then you won't get the full performance out of you card.

Sorry XL-R8R i don't wish to bust your balls :D but GTX 760 and 280 are quite same performance wise but yes 280 is little bit better and wins the performance for dollar award. And yeah the price depends where u live if u buy it form a locale store.

I have a boxed beQuiet L8 80Plus Bronze 630w fully modular PSU you can buy for bugger all, I'm happy to cater to any price, not looking for personal profit. Happy to make a FS thread to please the mods and keep you buying safe. It's a top quality unit, near mint, and won't let you down. Most people on here will vouch for my integrity, I usually give away a lot of hardware, and this one has come up spare. If it means you can afford a better GPU for your monies, you're welcome to PM me and I'll get the thread and pictures up for you. I'm in the Lincolnshire area if you're interested.

This sounds like a pretty great deal ;) I've seen @RCoon give away stuff before and he knows his stuff, so you're safe with him.

Sorry but on that test scale average 9FPS does not count as much faster Iv used the 760 and 280 and tested them on many more games than kitguru test. Saying that it performs much faster or performs much worse is incorrect.
