its just a way of useing more (system) memory than the card really has.. its a low power cheapo card thing just to make em sound better then they really are.. its memory the card will never need or use cos it lacks the power to use big enough textures that would need the extra memory..

pretty much like having 512 memory on low to mid-range cards is also a con..

Another way to say it...
"hypermemory" is a feature on budget video cards that allows video cards to use system memory as if it were video memory...so a card shipping with 32MB VRAM and claiming 256MB turbocache or hypermemory is really eating 224MB system memory :laugh:. Thankfully it's only on turd budget video cards. I'd HATE to see that kind of thing on my X850XT :p
