there r 2 models of the wd raptors
WD1500ADFD
WD1500AHFD
i think the WD1500AHFD performs better in windows but i don't know for sure

does anyone know the difference

WD1500ADFD is the clear cover model. They're basicly the same...so do not expect performance advantage.
