Sure is a new graphics card
i hope for GTX 485.
Maybe a GTX485.
Why is it only on the UK site?
OP, are you going to change the title everyday for the next 4 days?....
$20 says is the GTX 485 and possibly a GTX 475.
OR ,dare i say, a Dual GPU Fermi card.
I doubt it's a 460, don't think they would make such a big fuss about something that isn't a top dog. I'm also putting my bet in for a 475, 485, or dual-GPU vidya card (probably dual 470 chips).
Some sort of dual gpu whatchamacallit that could cook an egg.
Just kidding. I think its a GTX485.
Benchmark results are already out for the 460 with a release date of 7/12. Results were unimpressive.
i seriously doubt its dual GPU
my money is on GTX495, they would not make a huge deal over something that doesnt own, iirc they did something like this for the GTX295. im willing to be its dual GF104 chips mark my words, that is all im allowed to say without breaking confidence
There were leaks regarding the 265 though.
My bet is on dual Fermi. Either based on the 470 or 465~
I've seen some results, just at stock clocks though. Honestly I think it's a good card that fits in its price point nicely. Right in between a 5830 and a 5850/GTX470. It makes the GTX465 even more useless. I really want to see how it overclocks, I have somewhat high hopes for it. Nvidia needs a damn good card right now.
I think this unveiling will be the GTX460 as Nvidia hasn't made an "official" release of it yet and it's falling right into the right date. Some sort of dual GF104 variant wouldn't be surprising either. I think they has some tricks up their sleeve with the GF104.
Except for the time when they had that countdown for a week... the ARE YOU READY?!? only to announce that they were going to show something in a trade show in yet another month.
Its a bios update that's enables full 512sp on a 480 and lowers heat and power consumption and gives a 10% performance gain
$hit happens...they go by there watch, not by yours or anybody elses.
As long as the card itself is awesome, who cares what they do to promote it.
the Original Architecture Design doesnt allow it, gotta rebuild it.
It's the 595X4N.
I was being sarcastic, should have made it more clear
Sarcasm cannot be interpreted by words alone.
GTX 495. Hope it comes out soon!
Cheaper cards? I would totally buy one of they didn't cost so much.
More realistically, probably a 485 or something like that. Price drop couldn't hurt us, though...
I want something which fills the 5770-5850 gap, and with a better price/perf than 5830.
