Hey guys, im looking for a remote desktop program to connect to other pc's, some that are a state away. These pc's are not in a domain based environment, personal/business use only. What does one recommend for this? All the pc's are using vista home premium or ultimate 32bit/64bit. Not looking to spend too much. Thanks :toast:

DamewareNT / Mini Remote Control http://www.dameware.com/products/dmrc/

$90, not cheap, but the best IMO.

Using this on a 2 screen setup is perfect. One screen local, the other remote. Couldnt be easier. However, you can window it, if you just have one screen.

LogMeIn has free software or you can pay for additional features. Other than that, you can use CrossLoop or Ultra VNC. All of that is freeware.

I use Hamachi (free), and then RealVNC (with encryption).
