i have the x800pro non vivo, and im wondering what resistance fixed resistor i will need for 1.7v on the gpu, and 2.3v on the mem.

    Hey you're from XS :)

Why don't you just use a variable resistor and measure for GPU and mem?

the reason using a variable resistor isnt an option is im broke, and i want the card to look unmodded for the sake of keeping it looking clean and simple.

and hey bigboi, i knew i had seen your nick around somewhere.

The original Vdd and Vddq are 1240 Ohm. For 2.3V you need app. 1100 Ohm. For the Vcore you have to measure and to calculate.

Broke? Dude a variable resistor from Radioshack is cheap as hell, like 1dollar or something, don't tell me you're THAT broke.

yeah, i decided ill just pick up some VR's from the local supply shop tomorrow.

will do full mods, hopefully get some nice 24/7 clocks. best so far are 590/590 with 1.62vgpu and stock mem volts and timings. core stays cool at under 40c on most days. will be better once winter comes.

when i run my core lower though can do 600 mem with tightened timings.

still have to try flashing it though, ive tried connecting lasercuts. but i think my chances of unlocking it are almost none.

I think only the ViVO agp x800pro unlocks. That's a nice GPU temp though, what kind of cooler do you use? W/C?
