    Hey guys.

Once again I come back to get some advice!

This time I am looking for a sound card. I want a good one but not over priced if possible.

Ok I wish to have a sound card for playing games and music and movies!! Can sound be used for anything else other than what I mentioned??? ;)

I watch HD movies on my monitor and listen to lots of music such as " trance, dance, progressive and techno " I love music with a nice beat to it!
I do play games but not as often as I used to.

So can someone recommend a sound card that will run perfectly for my desires?
I wish only to spend 150 EURO max. But I could stretch to 200-250 if its really needed.

    Thanks.

Based on the views of a lot of people on here. if you are going for a sound card, get an

Auzen (auzentech) X-fi. (which one is upto you on features/availability/pricing etc)

Please dont get Creative, the amount of people who have probs with their drivers, or game problems caused by the drivers is immense!

What places can you buy from in ROI? maybe we can have a look through the sites?

    Thanks for the suggestions.

I was thinking of getting the creative Xtreme gamer but I also have heard so many drivers problems so thats why I came here asking for advice. I simply do not know of other sound cards out there!

I would normally buy from Komplett.ie or ebay but komplett or ebay don't seem to sell them that will ship to me.

Is there a reason fro Auzen X-fi????
I shall have a look into it.

That would be a great one to pic. Auzen is better as Creative X-Fi drivers have to be some of the worst on the planet. I have seen it where people have chucked out their creative X-fi and used on board just to get a game working!

I just read about the card and it really sounds impressive!
I will indeed go ahead and buy this on ebay.
It sells for a total of 160 euro which is not so bad I think? I have no choice as there is no other place for me to buy this.

Sounds like a good price, same as what it would cost from e-tailers in the UK.
Would be the one i would get if I wanted a sound card.
