Benchmark Scores Faster than yours... I'd bet on it. :)
Again, just because you use a PSU and it works does not mean it is of good quality!!! There is ripple testing, transient response, voltage regulation, quality of internal components, etc.

Read a power supply review from jonnyguru and see what they test for. Example of a decent Enermax PSU (priced high): http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story6&reid=372

Now, Enermax is generally fine, but they have had some duds in the past and their pricing tends to be on the higher end with some models. So while its not a bad choice, there are better quality ones out there and for less money.

I got that since first time you've posted it.
I have a friend who since 1995 his job is everything what has to do with computer he is a professional (especially power supply) (he learned at the university)
He said to me, if you don't want go wrong when buying a power supply get Enermax power supply.

Btw I know that review.

I agree with everyone that a PSU will be important here, but out of curiosity, what were you thinking as far as a cooler? Also, what fans do you have on your 212?
I'd have to look around and see which is best for the price.

LOL, a RAIDMAX PSU? Sheesh... I would sell that GPU and buy a new PSU ASAP. That thing works better as a fire starter than a PSU.
My Raidmax has a pretty decent amount of reviews on NewEgg while maintaining 4/5 eggs. I love it and the blue LED helps.

"I choose you PSU!"

LOL, newegg reviews. Enough said.

Newegg reviews are utterly useless outside of DOA.

If you got that, then you wouldn't have said what you said... ;)

I guess you are saying he is an electrical engineer? So he took apart the Enermax PSU and looked inside of it?

Regardless of your friend, the reviews by professionals who review PSU's have seen good and not so good from Enermax. Hell man, the one I linked said it used Tier2/3 caps... Its a mixture of both. Enermax had some bad PSUs in its time. Seasonic, not. Corsair Ax/AXi, not. EVGA Supernova G2, not. Zippy, not.

Give it away to someone who could use it.
There are people with 10 year old hardware on these forums.
We do a lot of giveaways.
They would sincerely appreciate being able to upgrade from a gtx 8800 to a 560, I promise you.
Ask them to pay shipping plus 10 bucks for your effort.

That's what I'd do or I'd just give it away, like I gave away my 2 gtx 680's when I got my 980's.

Sometimes reviews are just crap and professionals says just crap and they say what they want to say to make you happy, this month corsair has the best PSU next moth Enermax an so on.

Even if a PSU is fine they always have something to say otherwise they wouldn't have a job.

This world is made by critics to survive

Not the professional I am talking about... you do not have a good grasp on how these things work. Its best for you to let it drop at this time. :)

So I think the GPU will go to a buddy of mine. Though he's going to need a better PSU, it'll save money in the long run.
