What was your first game?

A couple of mine were animal, vegetable, mineral and fruit machine on the amstrad cpc 464, i was only 6 or 7 when i got my first computer so i don't remember too clearly.

First computer i remember using/playing on was an Acorn BBC at kindergarten, i think when i was 3 or 4.

I used to love Chucky Egg on the Acorn lol

First First person game I played was 3demon, though it didn't involve shooting. I think the first shooter I played was Catacomb 3D.

It probably was. Catacomb 3D was the first FPS and it was also made by iD.
However the first "first person" game I played was Phantasy Star for the Master System. No shooting however.

I had won of these when I was a kid. If you can tell me what it is you're old too!!

I can't remember the first game though.

This was in '94, mind you, back when the Atari was a thing of the past.

Then we got NES, SNES and Genesis and have expanded to every console minus the PS3 since!

Mario/Duck Hunt, the 2 games in one combo that came with the NES.

First video game I ever played was Bruce Lee on the Commodore.

The legend of zelda a link to the past, followed by super mario world.

No wonder i was born with such love for games, when i was around 2 of the best games in the world at birth, i still love them to this day! i completed super mario world before i could even talk. I remember i won a competition for that!

I was raised on macs, so I played a huge variety of little arcade-ish games. The first game that was significant enough for me to remember would probably be Monkey Shines, a pretty simple platformer with a level editor which I had so much fun with. But no one's probably heard about that.

My first game was DooM on the Sega. My first PC game was Quake II, I think that's the first one I fired up. My most played game has to be eaither Quake I, Final Fantasy 7, or Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2.

My first FP game was a text based one, where you had to type your choices and movements - I forget the name but it was the first ever 3d game.

My first was (vaguely remember) Dungeons & Dragons, but cannot remember the system. I beleive it was Commodore 64. But the one that I definitely remember that I know I can at least vouch as first, Donkey Kong Atari 2600.

I'm not too old yet, first games for me were advanced dos pixels like Wolfenstein 3D and doom. Then came street fighter which was second!

First PC game and FPS is blue shift, didn't get very far with it though (That was when I was 7)
First game was probably a toy story version of that card game where you have to get pairs, I managed to set that mac on fire after playing on the game for 5 minutes lol.

I think my first pc game was the original test drive in an amber monitor with a 8088 intel pc, and my first console was a sega master system with the hang on/safari hunt cartridge

I don't quite remember them all, as I was basically playing PC before even knowing how to talk (that dates back to 1990); but some I do remember:

-The one and only Prince of persia

- Blues Brothers, Game based on the movie; loved it. (image doesn't work it seems)

Don't know which was my absolute first game; I think it was Tetris. But out of the games I played and liked the most these two are definatly high up in the ranks. I played space invaders too (5¼-inch floppy ) but definatly after POP. All this was strictly played on pc: my first personal computer was an old 486 when my father switched to a more powerful Pentium 1 133mhz ( I remember you could downclock it to 66mhz for compatibility )

WOW i remember that and a few others that been posted i gotta say that one pissed me off endlessly as one wrong move you were dead only other i liked which was kinda like that was Flashback. You had to be dam good to make the jumps thats for sure.

Do you mean Blues Brothers or Prince of Persia? But omg, yea. Flashback was crazy hard. I don't think I ever managed to get past the first 3 screens! But I really liked the intro video.
