The More the better with the new GPUs out mine takes almost 600 watts alone and an over-clocked CPU pulling 175 fans drives you can get up there fast and if I where to add a second GPU then I will be getting close to over 1300 watts so when you want to upgrade its better to buy the largest fastest anything if you you got the green backs. Not only that the computer will have a few years before the next OS comes out and your rocket turns into a rock.

Another vote for Corsair, I've heard nothing but good things about them and have a TX650w myself, personally I'd get one of their modular ones, but that's all about preference really.

wth?

find me one GPU that can pull 600W... If you do, I promise you to buy you 2 of them, because last time I checked, it was 600W for GTX 295 Quad Sli at PEAK!

an i7 OCed takes about 200~250W when it is greatly OCed! After all the rest, MAX would be like 800W continous...

Now look at his build... do you realize yet the a 600W would be much more than enough for him? hence why we were suggesting a 750W for the future...

1300W is just bogus... I've never heard of a normal person having to use 1300W...

How does a OS make a rocket turn into a rock? wth? win 7 coming soon, so all comps will suck know? weirdo

Not too much.

If you want modular, look at Corsair or Seventeam. If you don't care about modular, but want samething with brass balls, get a PCPower&Cooling Silencer 750W.

The psu I killed with 2 GTX260s?

Wow... how the fuck did you do that?

he used a floppy to molex adaptor, then a heap of molex splitters til he had 4 molex's free, then molex to PCI-E 6 pin adaptors on those, into the cards.

Then he urinated into the PSU, and turned it on.

(No really, how DID it happen?)

Start your own thread, and ask your question there.

Yea you should've started your own thread... but IMO, on budget, an Antec EarthWatt 500W should do fine... (70$ shipped)... or any 500W+ Corsair, PCP&C or Seasonic or Xigmatek....

If you've got money, then 650W would be great for upgrades later.. again from Corsair, PCP&C for best price/performance

I think that it was just a bad PSU that didn't have any problems untill it saw really heavy loads, every brand has a lemon or two. Their customer service and rma turnaround time is great, though. The one that I'm using now has been working out well.

Corsair 750w for non-modular. Silverstone 750w for Modular. Similar price in the UK, not sure about the US.

This silverstone is awesome.

Alright I am gonna be the odd man out and recommend a Seventeam. A very good oem that just started marketing PSU's under their own name.

I just picked up the 650 watt version and I love it. Very good PSU.
