Maybe you should read my comment completely before AMD fanboying it up.

"I hope over next few years, all monitors use or do something similar to g-sync and ditch the fixed refresh rate crap that was kept in from old CRT monitor's."

AMD Mantle definitely... I just hope AMD's software dept. is beefed up and aggressive in terms of updating it frequently and supporting it. No doubt that Mantle's first few iteration will have lots of issues.

I personally went with G-sync and this is coming from someone with 2 unlocked 6950's. Don't get me wrong im excited for mantle too but g-sync just takes the cake for me. Whats 52 FPS vs 64 FPS in Battlefield 4 when you still get some stuttering at 64 FPS. If g-sync really delivers what it claims then 52 FPS will appear smoother than 64 FPS without g-sync and that to me is a game changer. I can't count how many times I get frustrated with stuttering even locked in at a constant 60 FPS. Also I would imagine that inevitable drops in frame-rate will be less noticeable with g-sync due to the dynamic refresh-rate. Once g-sync comes out and if reviews show it's not just a PR stunt I will be upgrading to that asus monitor and grabbing a Gigabyte GTX 780 Ti OC.

I do wish it's open like mantle and not require a certain monitor and gpu combo but since i'm due for upgrades it pretty much works out for me. THIS ARTICLE at anandtech explains g-sync pretty good

Mantle closely won over g-sync for me ... very closely and mostly because it's open and it can work with any GPU architecture ... and with G-sync we'll finally say bye bye to screen tearing :D

What? amd is the people's company! They would never heavily hype something and then slowly stop taking about it as it gets closer to market. and go shiny press release with no substance when it releases.
Gotta admit though they have had some nice ideas lately........ and they've gotten them to market before they're become obsolete...... so im hoping for the best on this one

Shadow play gets my vote bcs. it exists in public. I cant vote for Mantle. It is not even out yet and I am not sure that thing even exist.
