I wouldn't be so sure on that . . .
Well since this is such a crappy forum with scammers for Mods why did you register and post? Fishing for attention are we? Not getting any at home? Or were you banned before? No matter how you look at it all your crying shows low self esteem and you really should GTFO for your own health. Maybe I don't know.....uses your mad crazy people skills to land a......girl :GASP:
yes, and erocker is all of a sudden in charge of TPU and his awesome MSpaint skills have travelled back in time and become a rule in the B/S/T section... oh wait, no, it hasnt.
Please, stop. this is getting stupid, you're looking for any loophole you can find.
people here earn their respect. this is why you have none from anyone in this thread.
no idea what a scamer is, but if you're accusing me of being a scammer i will take that seriously.
Does the index finger have to be attached to the hand or be in one piece?
@Erocker : After a little thought I think that you can probably make a generalized statement about FS item tech validity. If there is an appropriate forum (not including GN) to discuss a tangible item in, then it is most likely a valid tech item for the FS thread.
you know what, someone explain the index finger thing? i dont get it.
1 shot, 1 Kill ...
um, I have worked with "girls" who where hairy, mexicans, russians, italians, on and on, hell one had a full mustache LOL
You asked. lol Besides the drama was winding down.
its been said that mods here are gods, and that mods here can do whatever the hell they please
read wizzards post, then have somebody explain it to you, then maby you will get how you just admitted your a scamer
actually, all i did was post a picture of my hand.
Still, i wonder what this 'scamer' you keep talking about is. maybe its made of meecrob. nice south park reference btw - but it hasnt gone un-noticed.
Totally not true. AS it's a tech forum, new and shiny things are more interesting than old things (unless those old things are really cool) of course, but that's not exactly connected to respect. You get respect if you're helpful and if you're nice to other people. I have never been in the latest of anything (well, I did have an c2d e4300 once), but in this place there's warmth anyway, at least that's how I look at it.
Most of the time. There's times of flames and Drama, but it would be naive to expect something else.
No respect ≠ disrespect. So it shouldn't matter. If you want people to respect you for using something old, well, do something with it that earns you respect.
i dont respect anyone because of what they can afford, you know its not fair to just respect those that can afford a top end cpu ect
i respect those that help out and are productive members of the community, it dosnt matter if your running an old Athlon 64 as long as you are a good member
Life isn't fair. Some enthusiasts get hardware by saving up. The respect is earned out of staying on top of leaderboards, and helping others with problems related to the new hardware.
A good way to see how much a person is respected is by how many thanks they have gotten. Could be because the posted something entertaining or helped someone out. Or it could just be their a friendly person. The bottom line is you have to put in not only time but effort into a community to gain respect.
If that were the case I would of banned you after your first post. Just saying...
*I know who you are....
see, thats the difference between you and me E. i woulda waited a few more posts to let him make MORE of an ass of himself - hell, where else but this thread can we see w1zzard join in the fun?
This thread doesn't need any more posts in it.. low and behold I just made another one...
oh no! me too!
I'll slip in a shameless ad for GeneralNonsense. Hopefully he'll post there more.
The original point of this thread, was "What's wrong with our forums?". It gets derailed and de-derailed on a continual basis, which in itself, is no big deal, as long as the original poster gets some acknowledgement on the question at hand, and doesn't get completely blown off.
So, here's a "What's wrong". Can we look at, at the very least, locking/changing the post of someone who violates the FT/FS rules, if not even a quick PM with a generic, form email "Your post was removed due to not following the rules here."
As is obvious from the moderator posts in here, most of the moderators are completely overwhelmed and really don't have the time to do that sort of thing, but is it something that could be considered Wizz?
What I don't understand is the lack of following/reading the posting guidelines in the first place. It is up to the member/user to do it properly. If anything the only thing that "overwhelms" the moderators is the fact that people refuse to do what is necessary. Well over 90% of people do it properly anyways so I don't see any reason to do anything special for people who can't/won't. I'll just leave it at ignorance. Of course you could go to another forum and try selling your stuff in an improper manner just to be banned immediately. We do enough in my opinion.
I get what you're saying, but honestly, we shouldn't have to. The rules are clearly posted. The mods should not have to compensate for members who are too lazy to read.
I agree. It's like parking in a no-parking zone and coming back later to find your car has been towed away. The cops don't leave a little message saying, "Your car has beed towed for not following the rules." No need for the mods to do that either. If your post is gone you KNOW you didn't follow the rules. You can always PM a mod to find out the details.
