So I am trying to run a 771 CPU in a 775 board and I need one of these little sticker things to do it. Does anyone know what it is or where I could find one?

I do not know if it is safe to buy from this site. That is up to you; but, lugbuy.com carries the 771 to 775 adapters.

    EDIT:

I have not used the adapter; you may, however, also, need to do a mod on the socket... Info here on the pin mod & socket mod--> http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?285635-Overclocking-Thread-about-LGA-771-CPU-on-LGA-775-Mobo&

I've met alot of Sources for PC parts both old and new on Craigslist(mostly OLD). It's amazing the amount of absolute ancient components that they have, I don't know where You live, but MY point is STILL valid, look on a site like that, plus You can convey your requirements to the seller, also Ebay.
