which 5870?

I'm stuck between these 2:
The ordinary Sapphire 5870 the new cooler on this is supposedly very good and quiet.
and the Asus 5870 v2 supposedly a good OCer (due to voltage tweak and new cooler)

Which one would you recommend, why and is there anything else that is good for under £327.50 (incl vat+shipping)?
i will be ordering today or early tommorow.

I had the Asus 5870 v2 i seen its more of luck you get one thats oc good and the fan is louder then the stock ref one

i woudld get a GTX 460 1gb and oc it

I have the Sapphire. It is very quiet; In my configuration I can't even hear it till it gets to about 70%(which it never does unless you manually adjust). My highest stable OC was 900/1275.

I would personally find a used reference 5870.. I got burned with a non-reference asus 5850 and replaced it with a reference 5870, very happy with that move. I've been seeing more and more Asus cards not be able to take a flash.. not sure how widespread it actually is but I've not seen a way around it yet.. Voltage control on a non reference card simply doesn't happen alot of the times, and I can tell you voltage control on my asus directcu 5850 sucked.. the only program i could change the voltage with was the asus smartdoctor piece of crap software. make sure you do alot of research and find out if the card can do everything you want it to do before you pull the trigger.

But really, If you're gonna OC, I would really try to find a reference card.. aftermarket coolers are much easier to find for those too.
