I'm buying one tonight and another for SLI next week... So which one?
    Here are the links:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130040
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150173
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130082

All of these cards are in my price range, pick one! :D

    * I know they can all be overclocked, but I've heard that the Evga ACS3 gives the best performance when OC'd, and the XFX card is more of a "placebo" for this thread, but hey! Your opinion counts!

Lol, I would totally go for an ATI card first and foremost due to my hatred of Nvidia, however my mobo only supports SLI.

I voted for the regular ol' eVGA 8800. 640MB out of price range tho?

Yeah, it is. Plus with my setup I think 2 320's in SLI will be plenty for me.

My reason? Cheap, great warranty, and you can overclock it yourself, to get the speed of the others.

Also, it looks the the reference cooler, but with a different cover and a heatsink added to the back.

The non-overclocked EVGA wins. I don't see why the XFX card would oc more, evga has thier step-up program, a good warranty, and good c.s.

    Thanks Wile E!

The eVGA flavour clocks well and the lifetime warranty is a bonus, no point in getting a preclocked card imo as you can just clock it yourself :)

A question, on neweggs site it says that the HR-03 is compatable with GTX's and for GTS's a separate HSI heatsink is required. What is that? Where do I get one?

They should work in SLI, especially since you can position the heatsink on either side of the pcb. It will be tight tho. I'm not 100% sure about the extra heatsink for the GTS, but Thermalright's site shows a sink that they changed the mounting holes on. Maybe the original sink didn't fit the GTS, but the new one does. Probably best to call Newegg before ordering one, to see what they say.

Or, you could just go water. lol.

i have the Evga 8800GTX KO and i love the black metal cool cover

Why do you hate Nvidia so much? the only reason i would ever like ATI more is cause i like red more then green but its more then just colors.

Driver support. Without it your hardware is useless, and I just don't feel like making my own drivers! You will understand someday. Probablly sooner than later. I'm just biting the bullet at this point with them. I am going back pre-3dfx days too. Trust me they suck... but make a darrrrn fine carrrrrrd matey! Sorry bout the pirrrate ending!
