Guys, I think its McAfee AntiVirus Plus 2010. I just find these free Internet Security Software and Utilities Programs after rebate, including McAfee AntiVirus Plus 2010, 3 Users
, McAfee Total Protection 2010, 1 User and Norton Utilities. Avira is good as well. What do y'all think

I personally like AVG. However, Avast is also good.

Funny it was a mistake that i put AVG lol.. I like aVast more but if you disable one of them from starting at boot you could use them both as using 2 anti virus programs is better than using one.

I started with Avast, it failed me once so I've moved onto AVG. So far after about two years, it hasn't disappointed me.

Norton prevents more malicious code by hogging the resources so the code doesn't have any to use, than it scanning code for virus signatures.

imo AVG is the best free one, but i still have a low opinion of it. Kaspersky and nod32 (aka ESET) utterly pwn all the free ones - and if you look around, they're fairly cheap! (EG, www.pccasegear.com.au sells kaspersky for half the price their store does)

I couldn't agree more on the fact of buying one. It's one investment many skip on, but its worth it to some (including myself on PC's that hold my vital information).

I have a 2-yr contract with ESET NOD32, Zero complaints.

Avast. Has stopped countless intrusions on my parents machine downstairs. :p
Mainly from teh pops lookin up the XxX.

I have a 10 year license with AVAST Server Edition. Its run on my rackmount and scans incoming internet traffic for malicious code. All processing is done on my rackmount. :)

    I love it.
