    i love how the title said whats the best FREE antivir. implying that he doesnt want to buy one. and yet they still get reccomended. ontop of the norton bashing. which isnt necissary as

    1. its paid.

    and

    2. no one said anything about liking norton to begin with.

    youll have better protection pouring water on your PC.

    or covering the ethernet jack with a condom.

    Hence why i said what i did in another post. But all so doing what your on about would beat any Anti virus \ firewall program to be honest.

    really try avast. its free try it for a couple of days if you dont like it try another one.

    I just repaired my friend's niece's computer that was full of infections that corrupted the OS. She had Avast.

    i run avast if i google clitoris and go to 123virus.com id eventually get one that couldnt be detected too.

    Are you sure all providers were setup right in the 1st place ?. And even if it was no anti virus is fail safe thats why it's better to use 2 and have one disabled for startup.

    i used comodo AV and firewall for awhile it was not too bad .... just getting the options set up were a complete pain in the ass! :banghead:
