MX518, then went to the G5, and I just adore it. Personally I think the G5 is much better, more dpi (but not overkill), better placements of dpi control buttons and scroll wheel.

I loved the MX518, but I love the G5 (07) even more :D

I'm on a G5.
My bro use a diamondback.

Seems like Logitech and Razer rule the roost!

To be fair this is the first and only 'quality' mouse I've ever used, so have nothing to compare it to. But I love it. Have really found a difference in BF2, especially when sniping.

Mind you, the 2 cost me nearly £60, which with my commitments is pushing the boat out!!

Well, I've used plenty of mice, and the Copperhead and exactmat (control side for me) has made me a better gamer times two! Every multiplayer game I play regularly, I excel in. (Except TF2, I'm getting there)

+1 for the g5 cant say nething bout the mx518 as ive never used one must be good tho as plenty have reccomended it.

G5 (07 edition at least) is more or less a MX518, but with a slightly textured grip (less slippage) and a laser instead of optical. seriously works on anything.

edit: oh and the adjustable weights. i prefer light mice, so i removed them all and took teh cartridge out. its very nice to customise like that.

I would love to have a better mouse LOL but they just cost far far too much, eg logitech G5 rev 2 is £47.32 at ebuyer http://www.ebuyer.com:80/product/126433  Razers are slightly cheaper at around £30-50 but I just can't justify spending all those monees on a mouse.

I just use the cheapo bog standard Logitech M-BJ58 that came with my PC about 5 years ago, it's taken a lot of abuse over the years and is still going strong hehe. I also use a thermaltake gamma mousemat which is much better (although one of the blue LEDs has died :()
