I have Nero 7 premium. Has a lot more than I could ever think of, and I really like the interface. I've sed Nero since version 4 and I would recommend it to anyone regardless of what you want to do with it.
I've never used Roxio to be honest, so I don't know what that's like.

Darknova...ok, I have Nero 6, and I remember somewhere that some software??? worked on copying dvd info to hds, while newer softwhere did not. Here is my ?
What benifits would I get from the low cost upgrade my free but full version 6 came with, came as part of a dvd burner.?
    Thanks

I wouldn't know. I've never upgraded. Nero 7 is the first one I've actually bought. The others came with CD or DVD burners.

i've used both roxio and nero, pro versions. imo, nero is great, much better than roxio.

that said, they still both get the job done. i guess i just prefer nero's interface more.
